Mini Sephora Haul!

I recently took a little trip to Sephora to stock up on some of my favorites and here's what I purchased:

1. Nars Bronzer in "Laguna"
My all-time favorite bronzer ever! This stuff is the perfect shade for pale or tan skin and isn't too shimmery like some other bronzers I've tried.
This is a new purchase for me but, I must say, this stuff is awesome! The liner is super smudgeable with a small blending brush upon first application but then really stays put for the rest of the day making a smoky eye much quicker than when using shadow.

After hearing about this stuff forever (and hearing that Kim Kardashian uses this for her nude lip look), I had to try it! I love the formula on Nars Glosses and they really last a long time. This color is a pretty pinky-nude that gives the nude lip effect without washing you out- love it!

And finally...I need help! I tried on the Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer and liked it...but it's super expensive for what it is and felt like the illuminating property maybe looked a little juvenile/sparkly for my liking. Does anyone use the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizers and/or illuminators or, better yet, have any good drugstore dupes? Thanks!!!

Current Obsession: Colored Denim

I am loving the new colored skinny jeans trend! I recently purchased a pair of royal blue and a pair of red and love them both- here are some other color options that I'm contemplating :)

Here's a pair of royal purple from Target- how cute would these look with a pair of black flats and a black top?

And here's a coral pair from J Crew- love them paired with leopard print shoes!

And here's a couple pictures that got me into this trend in the first place from Pinterest and the web!

What do you guys think- love it or hate it?

Must-try Recipe: Cake Batter Dip

With the Super Bowl approaching, I know everyone is looking for quick and easy recipes to try. Look no more, this recipe is amazing! I made a test batch to make sure it wasn't too sweet and even my sweet-hating husband (who is a chef to boot!) liked it! It isn't too sweet and tastes JUST like cake batter! The other thing that's great about this recipe is that it's easy to make as much or as little (hello single serving size!) as you like as long as you stick to the 3-2-1 ratio. I'll post the amount I did, though. Here's the recipe:

Cake Batter Dip
1 1/2 Cups Funfetti Cake Mix
1 Cup Plain Yogurt (I used fat free)
1/2 Cup Cool Whip (tried both Light and Regular- Regular was way better!)
Serve with Animal Crackers, Nilla Wafers or Pretzels to dip
Taken From Pinterest because we ate it all before I could remember to take a picture :)

And that's it! This amount made enough to serve about 4-5 people...but it was so good that 3 people devoured it :) Anyone have any favorite recipes to share?

Ulta Haul!

I recently took a trip to Ulta to re-stock up on some favorites, as well as try out some new things. I always enjoy reading other's haul posts so I figured I'd do one of my own!

1. Benefit "They're Real!" Mascara
I purchased this after reading so many rave reviews online and OMG. This is the best mascara I've ever used HANDS DOWN. I suggest going to Ulta or Sephora and testing it out for yourself, it's life changing!

2. Benefit "Eye Bright"
This was a re-purchase because this stuff is awesome. It's a pinky pencil highlighter that you use on the inner and outer corners of your eyes and, I swear, is as good as an extra few hours of sleep.

3. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment
This is new purchase as well and I got it in the "brightening" shade which is the pinkier one in the middle. This stuff is great for under-eye circles so far- makes them disappear!

4. Nail Polish- Zoya "Dove" and China Glaze "Yellow Polka-Dot Bikini"

Dove is a light grey shade and Yellow Polka-Dot Bikini is a neon yellow.
Zoya- "Dove"
China Glaze- "Yellow Polka-Dot Bikini"

I plan on doing this with these (or this effect):

Have any of you used these products before or have any favorites that you want to share? I'm loving the neon trend right now..
